And then what happened? To the bunny, of course.

I trapped the bunny under a small trash can, maneuvered the trash can to a wall, covered the trash can with a magazine then took bunny along with many carrots out into my garden. It was the best I could think of at short notice.

Alan Grayson made the news in Florida again.
Orlando Sentinel wrote:
Former U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson has won $852,000 in a federal securities case he claimed involved a "Ponzi scheme" that defrauded him and other investors of up to $1 billion.
The award was far smaller than the $30 million Grayson sought. He contended he lost at least that much money, including capital gains, in deals made in 2002 and 2003 with a company called Derivium Capital LLC, and involving Wachovia Securities LLC.
<snipped>
Derivium Capital went out of business and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in New York in 2005. Grayson filed a separate claim in that case, has won judgments but has not been able to collect.
Grayson pursued Wachovia Securities in 2007 through the U.S. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, which arbitrates fraud claims against brokerage houses. The authority ruled April 2 that Wachovia Securities is liable for "aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty" and must pay Grayson $852,000.

We have lots and lots of bunnies here in the desert. I let my doggie chase 'em (but only because she can't catch 'em) when we're out hiking in the hills.

But it's the bunny fambly that lives right outside the fence that particularly vexes my pooch. She can see 'em and she can smell 'em, but she can't chase 'em... Quite fun to watch, really.

If there were an attack on religious freedom by Obama, I'd be right there with 'em. But since there's not...

I really hope that the Dems keep reminding America about Romney's financials. Is it a crime to be rich? Hell no. But it is wrong for him to deny that most Americans don't really struggle because he didn't.

Many students are dropping out or not starting college because even with jobs and financial aid, they can't afford college. I believe that this is a purposeful plan on the Repubs part. Educated Americans are liberals.

Repubs get into a lather about Obama's BC, but think it is fine for Romney to fight the release of his financial records? Please.

Texas AG releases voters' Social Security numbers in mix-up
By Chris Tomlinson, Associated Press
Updated 08:13 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012

AUSTIN — The state attorney general's office accidently provided the Social Security numbers of Texas voters to opposing lawyers as part of a voter ID case, but none of the data leaked out, a top state attorney said on Wednesday.

The Social Security numbers were part of a database of 13.1 million Texas voters turned over to attorneys challenging a new law requiring voters to show state-issued photo identification. The list was supposed to include only the last four digits of the voters' Social Security numbers to allow groups to analyze whether the law would disproportionately keep minorities from voting.

But when two groups opened encrypted discs supplied to them by the attorney general's office, they discovered some entries included the full nine-digit number, said First Assistant Attorney General Daniel Hodge. The problem came about because the information was supplied by 254 county registrars using different forms over several decades and in some cases the full number was entered, he added.

"Any claims the Social Security numbers were exposed to the public are categorically false," Hodge said, explaining that six discs were made and mailed to attorneys in New York and Washington. "Once it was brought to the state's attention ... within 24 hours those discs were reclaimed by the state."

A whole posse of baby bunnies living under the house. Knew about Ma & Pa Bunny; Cable Guy discovered their handiwork in the crawl space when TV got fuzzy last week.

But the little 'uns only came around yesterday. Tiny little buggers.

Bunny is delicious.

Yes I've eaten bunny. Fear me, oh mighty hunter. Picking the buckshot out of them while you are skinning them is a pain though...

It is, indeed, delicious. I've never had to deal with buckshot, though. Just a college-age server who kept trying to talk me out of ordering the poor cute fuzzy bunny. I pointed out that it wouldn't be on the menu if it wasn't already dead and in the kitchen, so NOT ordering the Thumper fricassee would mean he'd died in vain.

She traded tables and we got a server who was quite happy bwing me mah wabbit.

It’s OK nobody panic, I found her!

Well that was scary. My friend BK that helped build “the venue” is going away this weekend and asked if we’d watch one of his 3 pooches. Luckily we didn’t get the one he calls Swamp Rat; we got the cute little basset named Chloe. I asked if she would run off, and he said no, she’s a homebody. (Except that this isn’t her home)

Within an hour she was gone. I thought she was with MrDaisy, and he thought she was with me. We searched and called all over, down at the pond, down in the woods, and down in the bottom fields. No Chloe. I got in the car cringing at the thought of finding her remains on the long narrow windy road that leaves our property. And sure enough I found her “uninjured” about a mile down the road, I guess she was trying to sniff her way home. She looked happy to see me, even though we’d just met and I brought her home. She is now safe in the house and thank doG she doesn’t know how to use the doggie door.

Woof! That was a close one.
