Tonight begins the MLB 2011 draft. Hopefully tonight or early tomorrow a smart team will have added my cousin to their roster! Keep your fingers crossed he goes high!

Crossing my fingers. Not sure why, though. :-?

Coz he is way better suited to be playing baseball than attending college in the fall. If he plays his cards right he can be another Luke Scott!

OK, Maru -- and I still got 'em crossed, but not sure what's in it for me! ;;)

He'll have a stint in the minors before and if he ever gets to the Big Show.

Is he being drafted out of college or high school?

High school. He has accepted a baseball scholarship to college so much will drpend on bonus money. When his brother signed the team he signed with out of high school put a promise to pay his tuition if he didnt make it. He's currently in the minors in the LA area.

Huh. I did not know that Rolls Royce made an SUV. It looks very much like a Land Rover I'm in the Starbucks/Trader Joes* parking lot watching in horror as this little old man tries to park it. Bam, into the light pole. Crunch, over the curb. Oops, up on the sidewalk! Oh, the poor car. :(( prolly 20,000 damage, right there.

* for those of you who don't live in CA, TJ is notorious for the tiny parking lots at some of their original stores.

Edited for too many zeros worth of damage.

Oh my!!

Related... my one and only fender bender that happened when my car was actually moving, I hit a Rolls. Fortunately the sweet little old lady I hit thought it was her fault and we called it even (it wasn't. I think I was in a Saturn at the time)

I yanked the draft email thread, after being alerted about some PMs by people who weren't happy with it.

It's my project alone, nothing to do with Fogbow; I probably won't even mention this website when I finalize it.

Maybe I'll post it after I send it, and maybe I won't. We'll just have to see.

If you were huh-ing me, from wiki:

Quote:
The secondary meaning of Mitzvah refers to a moral deed performed as a religious duty. As such, the term mitzvah has also come to express an act of human kindness
