Newsweek reports that Palin has yet to receive an invitation to participate at her party’s convention in Tampa

The refrigerator better duck! The canned goods are going to be flying in Wasilla! Bristol's reality show fail. Tawd's ,reality show embarrassment. Bristol posting pic of "ruffle-eared Trig". Now Newsweek reporting she hasn't gotten an invite to be RNC royalty. The Mama Grizzly is going to be heaving the canned corn and green beans at anyone who crosses her path. 3-2-1 to a thin-skinned twitter + Facebook response.

But, but, this is the moment she's been waiting for! With rMoney's Bain fiasco, the party is quickly experiencing buyers' remorse, and here finally is St. Sarah's opportunity to grab the ball and put it into the hoop.

The Repub Convention will be quite entertaining. Sarah will show up, but politicians will ignore her. Which will piss her off.

It will be fun to watch Sarah as she tries to make herself look relevant at the Repub Convention. She will make a complete ass out of herself, and people will avoid eye contact with her in hopes that she won't stop and try to talk to them.

Sarah is in for a big awakening at the convention, should she decide to crash it.

I wonder if Sarah is trying to convince Fox to allow her to be a "political analyst" for the convention. Fox will say "hell no", but Sarah doesn't give up easily.

One can only hope that is her plan. The entertainment value alone would be through the roof.

Wtf?

I know that English is no longer a requirement for Republican politicians but... really?

Well I guess Palin knows a Dick when she sees one.

Hey, using the word "evidently" three times in one sentence is quite a feat! -xx

I wonder if Harry Whittington agrees.

The difference being that Cheney managed to bamboozle enough of the people. Palin's brain was so apparently stunted that there was never even a chance.

Palin a heartbeat away from being president. The stuff horror movies are made of.

Sarah Palin’s Comeback to Dick Cheney Marred by Sarah Palin’s Inability to Form a Coherent Sentence

Quote:
Sarah Palin's response to Dick Cheney on Fox News last night — the 71-year-old former vice-president told ABC News recently that picking the inexperienced Palin to be John McCain's running mate was a "mistake" — had a lot of potential. Had Palin found a way to mock Cheney for shooting someone in the face without getting sidetracked by her obsession with media bias and delayed by her trademark verbosity, it really could have been a sharp riposte. Instead, what came out of her mouth was this:

=)) =)) =)) =)) =))

The entire interview:

Thankfully, Palin decided that learnin' is just too damn hard.

We won't hear a peep out of her after Nov 5th.

I hope that is true and that the Republicans make sure of it. However, she might become another Dick Armey.

What a buffoon. By opening her mouth she demonstrated that Dick Cheney was being kind.

He's just mellowing out as he fades to black ;)

Offtopic :
Actually, I always found Cheney a little bit refreshing. Completely evil and a despicable human being, of course. But ya gotta have at least a little admiration for someone who can basically say, "Yeah, I'm a hypocrite. Who cares? Oh, and f*ck you" and not be bothered one whit by the inconsistency.

I thought her quip "Dick...I mean, Vice President Cheney" showed her true stripes. While I have no problem calling him a Dick, she is allegedly a political leader, I Don't think she is worth the dog shit I scraped off of my boot.

Sarah never outgrew being mean a nasty little high school mean girl always looking for a way to get in a sharp dig. it was her trademark as a candidate and why she was so popular with a slice of the public that gets off on that kind of thing.

Even Cheney was dignified in his criticism, without playing stupid word games to suggest personal disrespect toward her, and sticking to a simple, concrete fact as the basis for his point:

Quote:
"I like Governor Palin. I've met her. I know her. She -- attractive candidate. But based on her background, she'd only been governor for, what, two years. I don't think she passed that test...of being ready to take over. And I think that was a mistake."

That's it exactly. She and Tawd are classic examples of how the schoolyard bullies continue to be bullies as adults. But Cheney and the Republican leadership have turned the tables on poor Sarah. She said during the interview with her BFF Greta Van Facelift

Quote:
And you know what? In the GOP establishment, what I have found, Greta, sometimes you are the Louisville Slugger, baby, and sometimes you are the ball, and evidently in these last months, per many, many comments from those within the GOP establishment, I'm the ball. That's okay. I'm out there working hard for Senate candidates, for House candidates, for those downstream positions that can help stop this failed policy that Obama has put in place.

Sarah doesn't like being the ball. Sarah is used to being the bat. When bullies get pushed back, they always fall back and play victim.

Hell, I'm trying to remember the last time that nasty little harpy actually addressed The President as President Obama, and not simply "Obama". Straight out of the Fox 'News' style book.
