"There is no birth certificate," said Tim Adams, a graduate assistant who teaches English at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. "It's like an open secret. There isn't one. Everyone in the government there knows this."

"The electronic record of the birth is what (the Health Department) now keeps on file in order to provide same-day certified copies at our help window for most requests," Okubo said.

Asked for more information about the short-form versus long-form birth documents, Okubo said the Health Department "does not have a short-form or long-form certificate."

"I had direct access to the Social Security database, the national crime computer, state driver's license information, international passport information, basically just about anything you can imagine to get someone's identity," Adams explained. "I could look up what bank your home mortgage was in. I was informed by my boss that we did not have a birth record [for Obama]."

Stolen, according to Tim, because the thief would then know if these people had voted for the current president and use it as blackmail or something.

Tim worked as elections clerk from the spring until [highlight]August[/highlight], when 50 documents related to voter registration info of U.S. diplomats were stolen.

The Office of the City Clerk is in charge of elections in Honolulu and that was Denise C. De Costo back in 2008 and not Tim Adams.

The current Office of the City Clerk is Bernice Mau .

The state Chief Election Officer was Kevin B. Cronin who served from 2007 to 2009 so it was not Tim Adams.

You notice Mr. Adams never states that he had access to the "long form copy" of Obama's birth certificate. Nor was it his job to verify Obama's eligibility for President. The person whose job it was to do that has stated she saw all the relevant documentation.

Note that he says "he was told by his boss"... He did not say that he looked up the information in the databases he had access to (which if we recall what happened when some over-eager law-enforcement officers tried to run a background check on Obama, would had a similar result). Perfect, unverifiable hearsay, particularly when his boss remains decidedly ambiguous.

Question: Why did this guy, who admits he preferred Clinton and McCain, sit on this for close to two years now, when this damning information could have swung the election for his candidate?

He then left (apparently in the middle of that investigation) and enrolled in the University of Hawaii and "let them figure it out for themselves."

Sadly, if we look at the world of birthers, that phrase I believe can be applied almost universally. And, no, I'm not saying this in a mean spirited way, but as an honest observation. Think about each character and tell me I'm not right.
