Pastor Gallups is also noted for his videos questioning the legitimacy of the Obama Presidency. Gallups says to that, "That is a whole different matter. My videos on the question of Obama's natural born citizenship status are NOT satire or novelty pieces."
http://www.hickoryhammockbaptist.org/interview.htmlWhether he's also ppsimmons or not is almost immaterial. I've seen so many of these birther videos that are from ppsimmons. I think they qualify ppsimmons/Gallups to be a "Lesser light" in Birtherstan, but someone worth keepin' a sharp eye on.
This was August 2010. Perhaps it says something about the decline of Birtherism that Gallups now stands as one of the most prominent Birthers remaining.
mimi had a post earlier in this thread quoting from PPSIMMONS'
About page. Since that time, it's been updated to include an explanation of the moniker:
Quote:
The name PPSIMMONS is a moniker that represents the entire team of this amazing worldwide ministry. It comes from the first letters of this profound declaration - Preaching the Precious message of Salvation In Many nations and in Many ways thus Obliterating our Nemesis Satan! PPSIMMONS!
That's right: the last letter of PPSIMMONS stands for "Satan."
Also. as mimi's post noted in passing, the second person identified as being the public face of PPSIMMONS is one Michael D. Shoesmith. He used to operate under the name "The Internet Pastor," and had a website at ProsperousIndividual.com. His
YouTube page also identifies him as a supporter of the Institute for Creation Research. His site offers up this bio:
Quote:
Michael D. Shoesmith is a highly skilled, highly trained, hazardous chemicals expert in the transportation industry.
He is the author of the books: “Fallen From Grace”, “Fast Track To Freedom”, and “The Great Debate”, “Politics as Usual”, “The Bible Mode”, as well as dozens of media articles and many books yet to be published. He has spent the last twelve years and close to fifteen thousand hours studying the Bible. He lives with his family in Southwestern Ontario, Canada.
Those books? All of them are self-published; the latter ones may not even exist in paper form, but rather only as e-books. One of his "books" is 39 pages long. And yet, I'm not sure if any of that is funnier than the fact that his bio brags about his many
unpublished books.
