Just getting ready for the big day, I found the 9th Circuit website, directions, schedule etc.

I see on the schedule that Drake v Obama has a notation that it is scheduled to go last. Any ideas as to approximately what time that translates to?

For me, the drive will take an hour, or more likely an hour and a half due to traffic. It's going to be a little tight to get there before 8:30 when the court opens, but if nothing is going to happen until late in the morning, maybe it's not essential to get there so early?

On the other hand, if the place gets overrun by Birfers the way the hearings went in Judge Carter's court, one might find oneself shut out. On those occasions I drove down the night before and stayed at a hotel so as to get the jump on them ol' Birfers. I was at the head of the line outside waiting for the doors to open. That was when I made the acquaintance of my Birfer BFF Jeff Lichter (he of Arizona Tea Party and Birfer bill fame). Good times! But I digress...

I'd hate to miss out on all the fun, but I can't go down the night before this time around. I wonder how many Birfers will show up? Probably nothing like the 100+ at the 2nd and 3rd hearings in Santa Ana.

So for some odd reason there are now three media outlets who have been granted permission to videotape the oral argument for later broadcast... CBS Network News, KABC-TV Channel 7, and C-Span.

I can't help thinking they must believe this argument has something to do with Obama's elibigility. Otherwise, I don't get it.

Does anyone here have contact with anyone at any of these outlets?

I'm so sorry I will miss meeting everyone who's going. Phx is about a 5 hour drive, not too bad for a weekend trip, but I'm having car issues that threw me off schedule so I decided not to go.
