Corruption-fighting Independent Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin will hold a New York City news conference Thursday, October 13th to demand that the United States and European Union immediately “quarantine” the Ukraine until all political prisoners including former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, are freed. Martin has a long history of international human rights activism, most notably in fight to secure the release of imprisoned French journalists who were jailed after the death of Princess Diana.

“President Barack Obama does not like me. For the past seven years I have been a thorn in his side. I am the Republican Party’s most effective anti-Obama attack dog, perhaps Obama’s only consistently effective opponent. The idea that I could be jailed for campaigning against Obama, or criticizing him, is unthinkable. What Yanukovich is trying to bring back is a modern version of the Iron Curtain. I will not allow this to happen.

“It’s 3:00 A.M., and the phone has just rung. Presidential Candidate Andy Martin has answered the call. There is an emergency in the Ukraine. I am asking Obama and Clinton to act, and the EU to act, today. Go.”

Martin returns to Chicago on “home leave” on October 20th, where he will be available to support the Chicago area’s large Ukrainian population and to continue his efforts to free the Ukraine’s imprisoned former prime minister and presidential candidate.

Doesn’t Mr. Dummett need to become the Republican presidential nominee before he can challenge the eligibility of the Democratic presidential nominee?

It seems to me that, if Mr. Dummett truly wants to bring about an adjudication of the meaning of “natural born citizen”, it would make more sense for Mr. Dummett, as a Republican primary presidential candidate, to challenge a fellow Republican primary presidential candidate — such as Andy Martin — who has the same eligibility problem that President Obama has. Mr. Martin was born in the United States, but when he was born, his father was not a US citizen. If Mr. Dummett gets a court ruling that Mr. Martin is not a “natural born citizen”, it would establish that President Obama is not such a citizen as well.

Way back in 2008 I sued the HDOH when it refused to provide access to President Barack Obama’s original birth certificate. The mumbo jumbo at the time was that record was “secret.” Hawaii’s notoriously corrupt judicial system rubber-stamped the decision.

Since then President Obama has sent someone to Hawai’i, received a certified copy of the original document, and posted it on the White House web site. So the information contained on the original is no longer secret. Secrecy has been waived.

Nevertheless, as a scholar and historian I would like to examine the original document. Scholars and researchers always examine original texts and not electronic copies. The document is a historical archive.

I am coming to Honolulu next week and I would like to make arrangements to view the original copy of the Obama birth certificate. I assume you are no longer making arguments based on secrecy since the document is no longer secret.

Please let me know what arrangements can be made to view the original Obama birth certificate.

I would appreciate a response by fax or email as I am on the road a great deal and these come right to my computer.
