He hasn't played an ongoing role in the Birther saga, but his singular contribution was enormously important to Birtherism's development:

Ron McRae

An article by "Eddie Sessions" that first appeared on January 2, 2010, has just resurfaced with the same false attribution to the Wall Street Journal. RAP/Nesara News is the current vehicle for an article that first appeared in Warning Signs with the byline of Alan Caruba: Obama's Make-Believe Life. The false attribution to the WSJ presumably gives the article credibility that it lacked in Warning Signs. RAP/Nesara News describes the article: "A "deadly" article regarding Obama, at the Wall Street Journal, which today is the most widely circulated newspaper in America."
Quote:
I have this theory about Barack Obama. I think he’s led a kind of make-believe life in which money was provided and doors were opened because at some point early on somebody or some group took a look at this tall, good looking, half-white, half-black, young man with an exotic African/Muslim name and concluded he could be guided toward a life in politics where his facile speaking skills could even put him in the White House.
...
Knock, knock. Anyone home? Anyone there? Barack Obama exists only as the sock puppet of his handlers, of the people who have maneuvered and manufactured this pathetic individual’s life.

When anyone else would quickly and easily produce a birth certificate, this man has spent over a million dollars to deny access to his. Most other documents, the paper trail we all leave in our wake, have been sequestered from review. He has lived a make-believe life whose true facts remain hidden.

We laugh at the ventriloquist’s dummy, but what do you do when the dummy is President of the United States of America?

McRae is another false witness bearer.

The gallery needs updating. Lots of photos have been submitted that are still missing from the top of the thread.

And here's another: FreeRepublic's "Brown Deer"

I have no idea why, but all this time I've thought brown deer was female. It must have been some bias somewhere on my part, maybe even the choice of handle.

There was a request for an image of Lakin behind bars. I also provided a better quality image for Joseph Farah.

One of the things I find funny about his photo is that while certain Birther Freepers seemed intent on insulting my looks at every opportunity (or rather, trying to; apparently looking young is an insult in their aged eyes), Brown Deer turns out to look kinda like me.

If I was 20 years older.

With a gray mullet.

When I was a 1L, our legal writing class had to write and argue a brief in front of a panel of local attorneys playing judges. Being the idiot I was, I chose to wear a brown sport coat and tie as opposed to a suit and tie. One of the "judges" spent the time reserved for critiquing me performance as a time to critique my wardrobe choice.

I wonder what his thoughts would be on Kreep's outfit?

I have a question for the herd.

I am updating the gallery. There are lots of pics. Some updates for existing ones (Kreep, Sinclair), and some formerly missing ones (Ducky, Hollister).

The question is, what, if anything, should I do with people in the category Butterdezillion, Kenyanborn, Browndeer, etc.?

We have names for some of these, so they aren't anonymous. But nor are they birther movement 'leaders' by any stretch -- just the gadflyiest of the gadflies, the kookliest of the kookles, the nastybitchiest of the .... well you get the idea.

- Fold them in with all the rest?
- Make a separate presentation for 'internet characters'?
- leave 'em out?
- case-by-case basis?

And a related question -- we had Wayne Madsen in the earliest version of this, and pulled him on the basis of being insufficiently birfoonish. But I noticed he was back in the news recently. Should he be restored?

I guess I should add Trump?

Edit: I noticed an earlier disucssion about who "Mitchell" is supposed to be. I always thought it was supposed to be Andrea Mitchell?? Amiwrong?

I think that was Paul Andrew Mitchell, "private attorney general". He has been discussed here. (In this very thread, actually.)
