If this had not been publicized O'Keefe may very well have "edited" his video to reflect exactly the opposite. O'Keefe is a criminal and a liar who should be in jail.

The few voter fraud cases that have been discovered of late involved repuglicans, so little boy blue might want to be careful about what horn he blows.

Conservative Filmmaker’s Attempt To Prove Voter Fraud In Colorado Blows Up In His Face

Conservative activist and professional troublemaker James O’Keefe released another one of his ‘blockbuster’ stings Wednesday that supposedly showed voter fraud in action in Colorado. The convicted criminal took his cameras to Colorado earlier this month in an attempt to expose Democrats taking part in voter fraud to assist Democratic candidates in the close races for Senate and Governor. While in O’Keefe’s mind, and surely hard-core right-wingers’, he completely exposed voter fraud in action, the reality of the situation is he didn’t document one actual instance of voter fraud being committed.

In typical O’Keefe fashion, the self-proclaimed muckraker donned disguises and pretended to be a liberal activist while speaking with volunteers at liberal non-profit organizations who were working on voter registration and mobilization drives. In a few instances that he caught on video, he was able to convince some of these other activists that utilizing unused mailed ballots to vote for Democrats was a good idea. Colorado is one of three states that has an all mail-in voting system. O’Keefe presented various scenarios to the activists in the video where he’d be able to get a hold of unused ballots. He was able to get some of them to agree that it was a good idea.

Below is O’Keefe’s video that was released Wednesday:

In the end, this is really just a bunch of nothing. All O’Keefe was able to do was present strawman scenarios to a few people and get them to agree that they could potentially work. In the video, we see him state that he has a bunch of fraternity brothers that have moved out but they will receive their ballots because they didn’t change their addresses. He also pushed forward the idea of rummaging in the trash in historically low-turnout areas to find thrown out ballots to use and turn in. Overall, he ran with the long-held conservative belief that widespread voter fraud is unbelievably easy, especially with mailed ballots. In this case, he was able to videotape a few people agreeing with his stupid plans, though he didn’t film anyone taking part in anything illegal.

To no-ones surprise. O'Keefe is trying it on again with the voter fraud angle. I havent watched it but here is the video he just released

Published on Oct 30, 2014

A stunning undercover video exposes a reckless disregard of election law in North Carolina. Multiple campaign operatives and workers, both democrats and republicans, encourage felony voter fraud.

A Project Veritas Action operative poses as an enthusiastic wanna-be voter, who also happens to be a non U. S. citizen. When she asks campaign managers and other campaign operatives if it is okay if she votes they all say yes, no problem.

Greg Amick, Campaign Manager for Mecklenburg County Sheriff hopeful Irwin Carmichael, says, ‘it shouldn’t be an issue at all.” Martin Kelly, the father of Superior Court Judge candidate David Kelly adds, “If they registered her, then she can’t get in trouble. All they can do is say no. They can’t do anything else.”

The only headline regarding James O'Keefe I want to read would be one announcing that he has tripped and fallen into an industrial-size sausage mill feet first.

Another example of the awfulness that is James O'Keefe:

Activist allegedly tried to bait protesters with ‘kill cops’ script

By Carl Campanile

March 17, 2015 | 3:21am

A controversial conservative activist is being accused of trying to incite anti-police protesters by saying, “I wish I could kill some of these cops,” to provoke them into making outrageous statements.

A former top staffer with Project Veritas, Richard Valdes, said the incident occurred in January, when an undercover operative assigned to infiltrate the protest groups was given a script that included the startling comment.

Valdes said he was fired by the group’s founder, James O’Keefe, for not following through on the bizarre assignment.

Valdes said Veritas assigned a Muslim undercover agent pretending to be anti-cop to attend protest meetings and utter the following statement: “Sometimes, I wish I could just kill some of these cops. Don’t you just wish we could have one of the cops right here in the middle of our group?”

As for Valdes, his line in the sand is a bit further than mine. Idunno why O'Keefe's other stunts were ok with him.

Oh look O'Keefe's newest deception campaign. that O'Keefe's narration doesn't even fit the questions that are being asked. He outright lies about what he claims the Assistant Dean was saying. Notice the assistant dean isn't even asked about ISIS but instead is asked about a freedom fighter. Something even Reagan supported.

Cornell dean appears to welcome Hamas to campus in undercover video; president calls idea 'ludicrous'Update 12:43 p.m.: Cornell President David Skorton has issued a statement condemning the Project Veritas piece. It has been added to the story below...............The NY Post reached out to Cornell for a comment on the story. This was the university's response:"Cornell fully supports the free exchange of ideas and does not review or control the political ideology of our students. We do not, of course, tolerate unlawful advocacy of violence, and the comment about training by ISIS freedom fighters does not reflect university policy."Cornell University President David Skorton also issued this scathing response to the Project Veritas piece:"As the president of Cornell University, I want to be clear that the notion that Cornell would allow ISIS training sessions on our campus is ludicrous and absolutely offensive."Project Veritas, the organization behind this shoddy piece of "journalism" has been repeatedly vilified for dishonest, deceitful activity. It is shameful that any individual would pose as a student facing racial discrimination at another university, ask leading questions on hidden camera about Cornell's tolerance for differing viewpoints and backgrounds, and then conveniently splice together the resulting footage to smear our assistant dean and our University. After speaking with Assistant Dean Scaffido, I am convinced that he was not aware of what he was being asked."Let me be clear: Cornell has an unwavering commitment to the free and responsible exchange of ideas. However, we remain vigilant in maintaining an appropriate balance of freedom of expression within accepted boundaries. Of course, incitement to violence is not protected and would never be tolerated on our campus."http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/ ... ritas.html

A few years ago when O'keefe started his sekrit videos, I didn't think it was a good idea to do the same. i've changed my mind.

I hope liberal activists will start doing this stuff. Hopefully with the first victims being those GOP-ers who have appaulded O'Keefe. And then maybe do a video on O'Keefe himself. You know, infiltrate his own outfit.

Anyway, this time O'Keefe goes to a Catholic college in Florida. Well, one of his fans is a student there and did the sting.

The muslim "terrorist" invading from canada routine, the Pro-ISIS "student groups". What about the transexual nazi eskimos trying to get funding for whale sex sting? Seriously f*** this guy.

James O'Keefe Loses Libel Suit Over Landrieu Incident

Conservative filmmaker and provocateur James O'Keefe has lost another legal battle: on Monday, a federal court in New Jersey dismissed a libel suit O'Keefe filed against legal news website MainJustice. In August 2013, MainJustice published an article referring to a 2010 incident in which O'Keefe and his associates posed as telephone technicians to gain access to the offices of then–Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.). O'Keefe and three others ultimately pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge of entering federal property under false pretenses.

In its original article, MainJustice said that O'Keefe was "apparently trying to bug" Landrieu's offices. After O'Keefe complained, the website changed the sentence to read that O'Keefe and his associates "were trying to tamper with Landrieu's phones." Still, O'Keefe sued, alleging that both characterizations were defamatory because they implied he had committed a felony. MainJustice countered that the language wasn't defamatory because the substance of the article was true, and the site accurately described the legal proceedings triggered by the episode.

The court didn't find O'Keefe's case convincing. Judge Claire Cecchi wrote in her opinion:

Regardless of whether the article used the words "apparently trying to bug" or "trying to tamper," the few words challenged by the Plaintiff, taken in context, do not alter the fundamental gist of the paragraph… Therefore, the words "trying to tamper with," understood in the colloquial sense, convey the substantial truth of the Landrieu incident and do not alter the ultimate conclusion of the paragraph—that Plaintiff was guilty of a misdemeanor.

They say O'Keefe is not involved. But, the guy who pretended to be the phone repairman for O'Keefe's caper at Mary Landieu's office, Joe Basel, married Hannah Giles, the hooker from O'Keefe's ACORN videos. Basel & Hannah Giles founded The American Phoenix Foundation.

Activists linked to James O’Keefe secretly recording GOP lawmakers to push Texas further right

Conservative activists linked to prank filmmaker James O’Keefe have secretly recorded video they plan to use against Texas lawmakers in upcoming elections.

John Beria, spokesman for the American Phoenix Foundation, recorded more than 800 hours of covert footage as conservatives plan to target incumbent Republicans and shift the Texas Legislature further to the right, reported the Houston Chronicle.

Several House Republicans said they were approached aggressively last week inside and outside the Capitol by the Austin-based group’s staffers wielding hidden cameras.

The group plans to release some of the video – which was recorded on cameras hidden in lapel pins or inside briefcases – over the next several months as lawmakers begin to prepare for the upcoming primary season, the newspaper reported.

By every metric, the voting populace of Texas is growing more and more inclined to vote for Democrats - younger, browner, better-educated and more tolerant; the only question that remains is whether the state will flip to blue shortly before or shortly after the 2020 election. Yet these Merry Pranksters are intent on driving the emerging majority away? Please proceed, wingnuts.

My fondest hope is that the wingnuts keep promoting absurd conspiracy theories and offending normal, rational people until after the 2016 elections.

They took all the wrong lessons from their 2014 victories. They actually believe they won because of -- not despite -- their kooky behavior.

They won because of unrestrained spending and gerrymandering, period. And the donks are going to spend as much or more, if they know what's good for them. It stinks, but that's the reality of the playing field.
