Birfers whine.Alan Korwin, Scottsdale Gun-Law Author, Says "Birther" Is the "New 'N' Word"Quote:
snip.....
"'Birther,' used by the media with impunity, is a derogatory slur, the equivalent of the 'N' word used for another group to cast them as sub-human," Korwin writes. "You apply this new 'N' word to
a huge group of politically-active Americans who've raised legitimate questions on a legitimate topic."
snip.....
Of course, Korwin doesn't use the actual word "nigger," he cops out with "'N' word" --
while still using the allegedly derogatory "birther" instead of "'B' Word."We told Korwin in an email yesterday we'd be writing this post, highlighting his comparison of the words "birther" and "nigger," but
he wrote us back saying that comparison "would be patently false, attribut[ing] a word to me that I deliberately did not use, and would not represent what I said or meant."
snip.....
As we wrote in that email to Korwin,
being called a "birther" for believing in what is -- by definition -- a conspiracy theory, doesn't compare to the motives for non-black people to call a black person "nigger." There's a bit of a loaded history behind the slur for black people, too.
snip.....
"Calling people 'skeptics' instead of the derogatory 'birther' would be more journalistic, unbiased, and worthy of ethical journalism," he says. "It would improve the craft and people's somewhat negative impressions of journalism. Many people out here do not expect journalists to do that, confirming their observations that media in general operates from a closed mind, driven by a forgone agenda. That might fit your definition of a conspiracy theory, but I see it simply as business as usual."
So Korwin accuses the Phoenix New Times of saying that he said something that he, Korwin, didn't say. 'Cause Korwin wasn't saying that the "N word" is for nigger.
But..... Phoenix New Times is quoting from Korwin's Letter to the East Valley Tribune and blog on AZCentral.com.
Letter: ‘Birther’ is the new ‘N’ wordQuote:

“Birther,” used by the media with impunity, is a derogatory slur, the equivalent of the “N” word used for another group to cast them as sub-human.
You apply this
new “N” word to a huge group of politically-active Americans who’ve raised legitimate questions on a legitimate topic. snip.....
These citizens noticed that when Obama refused — flat-out refused — to release relevant documents
you let him slide.
These people noticed that when papers finally emerged, after unconscionable delays,
irregularities were so great even amateur sleuths could spot them. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office found remarkable inconsistencies that point to deliberate fraud.
To demean and ridicule such socially-conscious, politically-active Americans with their own “N” word violates journalism’s codes of ethics (AP, NY Times, SPJ) that require you not only to be unbiased, but to avoid even an appearance of bias.
Inflammatory use of this offensive denigrating smear and “birther bashing” announces your prejudice loudly.
Birthers are just good, socially conscious and politically active Americans!
Phoenix New Times also quotes from Korwin's blog post on AZCentral.com, which is hard to follow because Korwin doesn't link to the birfer sources he quotes:
New "N" Word ("Birther")Quote:

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that: [
Korwin is the Uninvited Ombudsman ..... he is quoting himself!]
"Birther" has become the new "N" word for the media, used with dripping hatred for anyone who dares ask questions about Mr. Obama's falsified birth certificate. Where facts do not exist, the media hurls epithets, a classic sign of bigotry.

Read the report yourself. The irregularities and obvious evidence of tampering are plain to see.
The media are collectively hiding the truth and attempting to derail any effort to expose this deception.snip .....
[links and quotes from the LSM about Arpaio's investigation report]snip .....
[quotes from Arpaio's investigative report ..... layers! Inconsistencies!]Joe Arpaio is a sworn Sheriff. He enjoys the highest approval ratings of almost any elected official in the state.
He plans to
continue the investigation despite the "news" media's complete failure to accurately report or follow up on this tremendous story.
snip.....
Korwin quotes and links to the
Ma-Raze-Best Arpaio Report, to an article by Sheriff Joe, complaining that he is being persecuted by the media for doing his job, and from birfers. The last part of the article is hard to follow.
So, Korwin tells Phoenix New Times that he wasn't referring to the word nigger when saying that "Birther is the new "N word". Yet, Korwin, in other published articles written by him, makes it pretty damn clear what the "N word" refers to. Thus, Korwin engages in some pretty obnoxious whining.
Is there any other word in the English language that describes a specific group of people as "sub-human"? Nope.
Birthers really hate being caught by their own bullshit. Thus they whine and whine and whine.
..... but this isn't about race!
