I grew up in NYC. I stopped being surprised at the things that turn some people on a long, long time ago.

Well, you've mention in the past about the class you took for managing pain. This book may be the digital version of a sedative. I downloaded the sample so I could give Miki's book a fair chance before I made comments on it -- something a birther would never do. It was bad, mind numbingly bad and the worst sin of all when it comes to books -- dull and boring. I think your mind would start to shut down after forcing it to absorb Miki's words -- and suddenly your pain would be gone for a while as your mind tries to re-boot.

Miki, if you're reading this, if you are going to write a book about yourself, you really should have something going on that might be of interest to everybody or anyone who is not you.

It used to be useful in the print days to line the birdcage bottoms along with the cat boxes.

I'm pretty sure that was a 30 Rock episode.

Deano continues to poke Orly with a sharp stick (hits WND too)

Quote:
Where the law concerning birth certificates from the State of Hawaii are concerned, it is certainly disheartening to see so many people within our movement play the part of utter dunderheads. Because we so want to believe that there is some legal maneuver that will grant an attorney license to walk into the Department of Health in Honolulu and inspect whatever may or may not exist pertaining to Barack Obama, we are easy prey for the deceptive legal claptrap of a narcissistic attorney, and the online sources that echo those snake-oil sales pitches.

Ok. So Dean is obviously setting something up here. He hasn't posted on Free Republic in months and now he is blog-pimping and intentionally pissing all the birthers off.

He is setting up an exit strategy, right?

"I've decided that it is pointless to hold the Birther Summit until we as a movement understand some basic legal principles, blah blah blah...."

There has to be a reason that he is suddenly not only attacking Orly but pissing off birthers in general.

I think it's meant more toward the P&E ... Sharon's been much more of an echo chamber for Orlee than WND has.

That sounds about right. He may be trying to avoid pissing off his sugar daddy who might not be pleased with the FAILiness of the dumbit if Dean actually tried to pull it off at this point. It will be interesting to see what happens...

Maybe he's hoping everyone pulls out of the Scummit. Then he'll have his excuse to abscond with any money raised, assuming there is any. Perhaps he'll be able to get one of those $5 foot-long Subway subs, at least after spending a minute or two scrounging in the couch cushions.

But unlike The Producers, Deano's got a sure-fire flop...

Something is very wrong with that picture.

Isn't Dean one of the people behind the Sunahara lawsuit? You know, the one that asks for the lawyers to be able to walk on into the Health Dept vault and inspect and copy whatever they like?

Dean an Obot. =))

Of course, the folks at ORYR have been saying so since he posted his first article dissing Orly, and the intelligence of the birthers in general if they blindly supported all her lies.

What it really boils down to is that, among the birthers, despite his other faults and delusions about Obama's nbc-ness, he's one of the very few with common sense and birthers just can't have anyone with common sense talking to them... they can't understand it or grasp the concept of critical thinking and reasonableness and, basically, just seeing what's right in front of them and understanding it.

yes, that's where he tried to claim ID theft but found that Obama's name was not Virginia Sunahara, bummer!

I love that part of the Jean d'Arc story. First she is thrown to the wolves, and then what's left of her is thrown under the bus.

If Jean d'O'rly were thrown under the bus and then fed to the wolves, the wolves would find that the stringy meat had been tenderized just a tad.

Deano haz a mad at me cuz I called his "personal friend" Lakin a Blue Falcon. Sez he won't allow such incivility on his Birther Summit page.

Ironic how the person who wants to become the face of an movement that is "incivil" at its root would be accusing someone else of that.

:D

Deano has a mad at anyone who disagrees with him...unless they're physically close enough to punch him in his ferret face; then he's very pleasant and charming.
