I was a member of the military and am not embarrassed by Lakin in the least bit. So, speak for yourself. Additionally, civilians are put in charge of the military as a principle of the separation of powers. If the military leadership under Hitler had the backbone Lakin did, then maybe the Holocaust never would have taken place. The buck ultimately stops at the president's desk in these matters. If the president gained his position fraudulently, which appears to be the case after extensive investigation by those who care, then he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law as any common criminal

In fact, I strongly believe this story needs a wide audience in the run-up to the presidential election. We do not want to hand another four years to the people who tried to destroy Terry Lakin.

An exemplary leader, Lakin ran afoul of dark forces in this country when he simply asked the president of the United States to produce birth records. After all, this seemed a reasonable request from a man who has multiple deployments under his belt and who took his oath to uphold the Constitution seriously.

For two years, Lakin tried to get answers about Obama’s eligibility, but was stonewalled each time. He then felt he had no choice but to refuse deployment and thus invite his own court-martial! This is a poignant, heroic story that must not be forgotten, or falsely relegated to the "conspiracy theory" chapter in the annals of our national history.

Terry knowingly sacrificed his military career, endured a court-martial, and ultimately spent nearly half a year in Leavenworth Prison simply for standing up for the Constitution he pledged to uphold and defend.

Make a movie, I don't care. Just be aware that Taitz is going to want top billing as well as play the Sharon Stone parts.
