OK, let's get serious a minute. (On a Friday at 6:00 -- right.)

Are there any "special reports" that need to be written in advance of an anticipated heightened state of awareness of the birther issue in the coming weeks? (Diagram THAT, Mrs. English Teacher.)

Thanks,
The Home Page Team.

Fun little chuckle from TV last night. On"Person ov Interest" last night, our heroes were trying to figure out which of two people using the same SSN was the real one. One hero says to the other "Shouldn't we be able to track down a birth certificate for one of them?" to which his partner responds "Long-form birth certificates are hard to get a hold of."

Now, I doubt the writers intended that to be some kind of dig at birthers, but I could just imagine a birther hearing that and demanding a boycott of the show or that the writers be arrested for helping Obama perpetrate this great fraud by deliberately misinforming people or some such nonsense. It just cracked me up

That's a hell of a good question. Lemme ponder, and others are invited to pitch ideas too. Maybe one about the state ballot challenges so far? We can always add to it after Mississippi and whatever comes after that. Not only can you do New Hampshire from personal recollection, we have good video of Georgia and Indiana around the forum somewhere.

I think it's a fascinating storyline, the near violence in New Hampshire, Orly foisting the transcript and exhibits from Georgia on everybody she can think of while keeping it Top Sekrit that the judge ruled it was all crap, the psychological thumping she took in Indiana ...

I have a weird hobby.

These would definitely make some nice sound bytes for Feinstein campaign ads. And unlike, Romney's sound bytes against the President, these would be true. :D

Random thoughts (either would require work, as I don't believe these exist ready-made):
  1. Anything on election law re: CA senatorial campaign, finance reporting, and correspondingly, anything about non-profits, tax requirements, etc. Are Orly's donors taking tax deductions? Are they giving to her campaign? To her personally? To DOFF? Does DOFF exist? (I wish Ellie were here.)
  2. A compendium of Orly's most contumacious conduct

Separately, I assume that to the extent there is an actual hearing in MS, our crowd-sourced transcript team is prepared to swing into action. :-bd

Anyone out there have some long-sleeved white jackets and butterfly nets? This girlie needs a ride to Bellevue PDQ. That is one of the sickest and most misspelled rants I've read in a long time.

Thank you….Starla

The thing with Starla is (even if she's now claiming it's not her today) is that no one ever seems to think there's anything wrong with her rants. I truly am amazed every day at the alternate reality that is birtherdom. I'm still not sure whether I'm glad to be able to witness it or am just as insane witnessing it. :D

So last week, I ended up driving myself to the ER and was diagnosed with kidney stones. Today I went to see a urologist. As I was leaving the hospital, I discovered that my parking fee was going to be $5 regardless, so I thought I'd take advantage of being there.

Because, you see, this hospital is also the same hospital where I was born, in 1978. I made my way up to Medical Records, and inquired as to whether it would be possible for me to get copies of the medical records of my birth.

The answer: no.

And not for HIPAA reasons; I was told that didn't matter given that it's *my* birth. The obstacle is that the hospital only keeps records for, and I quote, "10 years".

That's right. My birth hospital can't produce records of MY birth 33 years ago, because they long ago disposed of those records. And I'm 17 years younger than the President. I'd better hope that no one ever questions my birth certificate.

Since you can't prove you were born there, do you still have kidney stones?

Question: how can I tell if and when someone, say a random president, was admitted to practice in a Court of Appeals or other jurisdiction?

A (polite) call to the clerk of the court should do the trick.

what about those who were born in Hospitals that don't exist anymore? The hospital my cousin was born in was demolished to make way for the Hawaii Prince Hotel (it was an awesome demolition to watch).

Have you seen "Back to the Future"? Your cousin should be fading from all the family photos about now.

FOX Anchor Tweets Post Suggesting Obama Plotted To Murder Chelsea Clinton

A FOX News anchor tweeted to followers on Tuesday to ask their take on a fringe conspiracy site's suggestion that President Obama threatened to kill Chelsea Clinton in order to cover up a forged birth certificate.

The anchor, Heather Childers, asked: "Thoughts? Did Obama Campaign Threaten Chelsea Clinton's Life 2 Keep Parents Silent?"with a link to the post on birther hub Godfatherpolitics.com. When confronted on Twitter by liberal watchdog Media Matters, Childers responded:"I know Media Matters strives 2b FACTUALLY correct so attach the article plz. I was asking 4 opinion."

TPM reached out to FOX News for comment and will post their reply.

Me, too. The hospital where I was born was demolished 50+ years ago. Nothing there now except a plaque commemorating its site, and the fact that a politico from a prominent local family was born there.
