Excellent -- I get cake for my birthday the day before, and don't have to worry about the calories!! =D> :-bd

I've got a lengthy jury trial startng in June. Do you think I should post jury fees, or should I just rely on the Mayans?

Wait, I thought the Mayans didn't predict the end until 2012? I think it is on my daughters 30th birthday. She reminds me of that periodically.

January 10, 2011 turns out to be a rather eventful day if the current schedules remain. ;)

It may be even more eventful than posted as that may be the "unofficial" official date we know about Orly's Petition for Writ of Certiorari being DENINED. (though we may unofficially know sooner) just sayin'. :P

Of course, it will be no real surprise, but will be nice to see in writing. :-bd

It turns out that we have all been misled. The Mayan Calendar actually ends on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. That is the date of the rare combination of a lunar eclipse and the Winter Solstice. It occurs every 456 years, and we all remember how bad 1554 was, at least for Lady Jane Grey and Coronado.

Conversations about this on Godlike Productions are at their normally high level:
Quote:
yep, 2012 is a distraction.

Doom on

SHUT UP! You're a retard.

stfu, you're a sheeple.

A sheeple? You want doom so bad it's not funny. Go jump off a bridge if you want it to end

1554 wasn't that bad for me. I was sitting in a tent in the Rocky Mountains, cooking buffalo and waiting for America to be founded and to grow into the banana republic Orly describes superpower it is today.

Reminder that tonight is the night of the eclipse and/or end of the world. Midpoint is 00:16 PST tomorrow morning.

If you should go to the coast of Norway at or about 56N, 4:30W -- you might be able to observe a selenehelion (sun and moon both visible).
(Technically both the sun and the moon are below the horizon, but due to refraction they are both visible.)

I thought that the Mayan Calendar finished in 2012. That is what all the end times sites have been saying. If it is 2010 have I missed it. We usually have fireworks on the Sydney Harbour Bridge for that sort of thing and there wasn't a sign of them.

So, today is Berg's day to appear in the principal's office! Although the hearing is not open to the public, for the sake of accuracy, here's the correct location of that hearing, in the PA Disciplinary Board's District II office:

820 Adams Avenue, Suite 170, Trooper, PA 19403

Thanks, zeke. Now I think it weird that a trial happening on the west coast is listed in east coast times. :D

I thought Daylight was scheduled for the afternoon. Maybe the times are six of one and a dozen of the other.

The Google Calendar display events in your time zone that you set in your preferences. Also, the ending times are meaningless since the dockets only show starting times. I just guess at those.

How about Dr. Levy or in esse?
