Anti-Obama reporter says he's being watched by drones

“I’m taking my dog for a walk and guess what I see right over the tree line right above my head is a drone,” Farah, the editor of World Net Daily, tells radio host Alex Jones this week.

I don't know much about drones, but when the government utilizes unmanned aerial surveillance vehicles, don't they usually fly them a wee bit higher than "right over the tree line"?

Because they're not being very covert if the target can both see *and* hear the drone.

More proof that WND is floundering in its efforts to find ways to promote Birtherism:

Obama's 'missing year' at Columbia found?

Wherein Corsi resurrects a story promoted by Orly back in March 2011, about a college data clearinghouse report not including Obama's first year at Columbia. It seems that the Cold Case Posse made an identical request, in what looks to be yet another example of the CCP simply imitating the earlier efforts of other Birthers rather than actually doing any sort of *original* investigative work.

It should be noted, however, that this (surprisingly long) article by Corsi actually does feature something vaguely resembling actual journalism. Corsi contacted both the clearinghouse and Columbia, spoke with representatives at both places who answered his questions, and he reports their responses. Of course, they both completely dispel his central thesis of a 'missing' year, but that doesn't stop Corsi from burying that information midway through the article, after several paragraphs that say things like "Swirling amid the black hole of information are a host of theories about Obama’s whereabouts – particularly during the 1981-1982 school year – including speculation he was working for the CIA in Pakistan."

If Obama is a product of a CIA plot, then why are these Birthers still walking the earth? I would think that the CIA would have teleported them to its moonbase long ago.

Back on 28 October 2008, I wrote an article about the claims that showed up though out the PUMA letterboxes that then-Sen Obama was using mass-hypnosis and NLP techniques to force people to vote for him.

(Rumor Mill News link here)
(PDF at Penny Press here)

The PDF was created by one "Daniel" on 4 October 2008.

So why do I bring this up??

Because Joseph Farah's Western Center for "Journalism" seems to have rehashed it.

(Part one - 8 July 2012)
(Part two - 10 July 2012)

So far, both parts (there's a part three on the way) are pretty much literal word for word reprints of the October 2008 article. Written by one "anonymous".

If the "Anonymous" who wrote the WCJ articles isn't the original author (The PDF only says "Daniel"), then they're plagiarizing.

And if is the author, the WCJ is recycling.

World Nut Daily's latest pile of Corsi droppings.

IMMIGRATION OFFICERS DOUBTED OBAMA BIRTH STORY

Quote:
"Immigration documents filed in 1961 cast doubt on whether Barack Hussein Obama Sr. was the president’s biological father and indicate federal officers were prepared to investigate whether the Kenyan was married to the president’s mother, Ann Dunham."

Note that last line.

Quote:
"The last paragraph indicates that if Dunham, as a “U.S. citizen wife,” were to petition for Obama Sr. to receive permanent residence status as an immigrant on track to citizenship, the INS should conduct an investigation to make sure the alleged marriage was legitimate."

Here's a shock to Corsi. The INS does this all the time when a US citizen is married to a foreign national. It's part of their job.

Leave it to World Nut Daily to turn "standard procedure" to some deep dark conspiracy.

Quote:
"In the third sentence of the third paragraph, the Dahlin memo adds the detail that McCabe reported the Kenyan had gotten Dunham pregnant, a fact that would have been consistent with the marriage being legitimate.

Except, Dahlin adds, McCabe reported that the Kenyan and Dunham did not live together and Obama Sr. and Dunham were contemplating giving the baby away to the Salvation Army.

The facts suggest a sham marriage arranged for immigration purposes only: a supposedly married couple who do not live together, a “husband” with multiple girl friends on the side and a baby neither parent seems determined to raise."

Or, alternately, a couple who got married too fast, discovered they weren't a good match, and were trying to decide that would be best for themselves and the child that was on the way.

It's also interesting to note that Corsi uses the phrase "the Kenyan" no less than 16 times in the article to refer to Barack Obama, Sr. I wouldn't say there was some blatant race-baiting, racist dog whistles, and propagandizing going on here, but I really can't think of any other way to describe it.

Which, of course, World Nut Daily's readers will eat up with a spoon.

Quote:
"Jugears "Lolo" Soetero Jr Deep cover, Anti ''BO BS'' tactical unit

I know this much, this agency never looks at what my family tree's been doing for 100 years, or yours, or yours or yours or yours…… this shiiite isn't all a coincidence.

Ultimately he Daddy Bammy was booted from Harvard and out of the country over these allegations and concerns about his womanizing and where his money was coming from.

That much is like father and son…the magic moolah part… notice his 'individual donors' are holding on to their money like they did the week leading up to Katrina, so we know they won't be reaching in their welfare/crack pot anytime soon for the O train this time around.. They ain't THAT attached to him!! lol

I wonder if it's just a coincidence that Corsi is doing this at the same time Mittens gives a condescending speech to the NAACP and later makes racist comments at a Montana event :-

Wow.

Pornstache was a client of the ACLU, back when he was a brave, brave radical teenager refusing to salute the flag in high school ... and the ACLU "[brought] the school principal to his knees" on Pornstache's behalf, if you believe a word he says.

He was a communist, just like President Obama, if you believe a word he says.

He became convinced the U.S. epitomized all that was evil in the world, just exactly like President Obama, if you believe a word he says.

He was arrested at anti-war demonstrations, if you believe a word he says.

And just exactly like President Obama, his "youthful radicalism attracted the attention of powerful and influential people in the country. [He] was recruited for full-ride scholarships at colleges like Antioch, known for grooming the next generation of leftists ..."

He was a bodyguard for Jane Fonda right after she returned from North Vietnam, if you believe a word he says.

Older, cowardly radicals recruited him to blow up chemical plants, if you believe a word he says.

He wrote for the Guardian, the Liberated Guardian and more, if you believe a word he says.

He was invited to meet Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn while they were still underground, if you believe a word he says.

He was "groomed to be a community organizer," if you believe a word he says.

He was a big, important, famous, exceptional, really important, major-league, really really important asshole, even back then. Such an impressive guy, if you believe a word he says.

I don't believe a word he says. Funny him never mentioning any of this before, yesno?

Because it's a massive crock of bullshit

You know, I know some RWNJ types who would not take kindly to anyone even vaguely for a period of time in the past having been a Jane Fonda supporter, much less bodyguard.

But maybe we missed the "parody" tag.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure Farah has said before that he was a left-winger in his college days. I've always found that admission fascinating, since Farah clearly demonstrates that someone can shift in their political philosophies, but he adamantly promotes the notion that Obama is somehow strictly beholden to whatever *he* believed in his underclassman days. Or better yet, that he's beholden to what his FATHER believed in HIS college days.

All these other details, though, I can't recall seeing him ever write about before.

Too bad he didn't accept the offer to meet Ayers and Dohrn when they were underground, or he might have been able to significantly improve the accuracy and style of Dreams From My Father.

Edit: Yanno, much as I love staying on top of WND's latest bizarre fantasies, they send out an average 15 or more emails every day. Even if I was a fan of WND, that would piss me off.

One gets the feeling that Joseph Farah is a tad bit annoyed at the Southern Poverty Law Center

Quote:
"Salon is shamelessly – even proudly – republishing content from the Southern Poverty Law Center, a racketeering scam rejected by even decent progressives with a conscience."

(snip)

Quote:
"Right there above the article, an editor’s note from Salon explains: “Salon is proud to feature content from the Southern Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry, and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of society.”

That, of course, is one of the most generous descriptions of an organization that actually promotes hate and bigotry – and does so while raking in hundreds of millions of dollars in the process through lawsuits, shakedowns and direct-mail scare tactics. It should more appropriately be named the Southern Poverty Lie Center – if only it had anything to do with the south and poverty. Not only is the SPLC nasty, brutish, extremist and anti-American, but it’s also one of the biggest con games around – an anti-capitalist moneymaking machine."

Well, their research does tend to make sane, rational people dislike hate-mongers and bigots. Which, again, may be why Joseph Farah doesn't like them.

What's funny is that the comments tend to prove the SPLC's point.

Quote:
"britt

"The SPLC is a marxist oriented organization…."

SPLC is Marxist and it is also Jewish. The agenda of the Marxists and the Jewish Lobby is the same, the destruction of America.

Joey needs to be careful about what he says about the SPLC, given its newly authorized enforcement powers.

Oath Keepers It’s Official: Southern Poverty Law Center Is Now Part of DHS by one Stewart Rhodes.
