WND reports on another wacky case that challenges the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Purpura v. Sebelius, No. 10-4814 (D.N.J.), on grounds inter alia that President Obama is not a natural born citizen. The Complaint, array of flaming motions and applications for TRO, and accusations that the Court is conspiring with DOJ rival anything the Nitrous Huffer has submitted.

I am just leaving the office and will download the various pleadings and orders tonight. Grab some popcorn.

This is a great country. As long as you're not in prison on death row, you can launch an exploratory committee for the presidency. You might even get one vote -- if you get out in time.

(I believe that was said by Ronald Reagan.)

A person who would threaten Lakin wouldn't have to be from the left. I have seen many on the right who are vets calling him a traitor, deserter, etc. also.

The state of Montana, which came up with the idea that the guns made, sold and kept inside its borders simply are exempt from federal regulations and made that its law, now is considering a new weapon that could be used to cancel much of the authority of federal agents over its residents.

A new legislative proposal would declare that the state's local county sheriffs are the pre-eminent law enforcement authority in their jurisdictions, and federal agents such as those working for the Internal Revenue Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and others, would be required to get permission from them before they could take any action.

Similar attempts already have failed elsewhere.

Oh: Montana's gun law (which it copied from other states) was struck down by the federal district court, and is pending appeal in the 9th.

Good luck with that.

Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate

...know what's lacking?: any actual indication that Abercrombie actually suggested that Obama's long form didn't exist.

If you read the article in the Star Advertiser, you see that the Governor actually said the opposite. He said there is a writing in the Hawaii archives. But he's not a very articulate guy and birthers will find it easy to twist his hemming and hawing.

Hate to say it, but Abercrombie is off on a fool's errand. If the birfers wouldn't believe GOP Governor Lingle and her appointees, why would they believe him?

I agree Bob. There is nothing to be gained by this, and as noted, he is a terrible spokesperson.

Double ditto on this. Abercrombie should never have brought this up.

I get it that he has an emotional investment here because of knowing Ann and Barack, Sr. and the Dunham family.
I get it that he finds all the crap personally offensive.
I get it that he followed his heart.

I wish that he'd realized he can't just wave his magic wand and cut through State of Hawaii and HIPPA requirements.
I wish that he'd realized that, as Governor of Hawaii, what he says makes very big waves, especially in birtherdom.
I wish that he'd asked advice from experts who've dealt with birthers and understand the pitfalls of good intentions.

I wish that he'd kept his mouth shut.

That article is being tweeted and posted in RWNJ sites all over.

I did tweet at a few and asked them to give me the quote where he says he can't find it.

They get all peeved and come back at me with a bunch of other birfisms. :P

Today GregWHoward was rallying for all states to mandate a long form to be put on Prez Ballot. So I asked him why people from Missouri, Florida, Tennessee, etc. (I gave the list) couldn't be President.

I think I'm losing it, so someone straighten me out. Hasn't the State of Hawaii already stated that long form birth certificates are no longer available? Despite the video of a woman allegedly ordering the long form last year, has anyone of contemporaneous Hawaii birth actually obtained one since 2008?

When did Hawaii ever say that a long form still existed and could be produced?

Yes, Hawaii says you can't get a long form b/c anymore. Period.

That video did NOT show her ordering a long form birth certificate. I watched it very closely about four times. She says no such thing.

Quote:
When did Hawaii ever say that a long form still existed ...

Fukino said it exists and she saw the original:

Quote:
“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawai‛i State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawai‘i State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawai‘i and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago."

http://hawaii.gov/health/about/pr/2009/09-063.pdf

You'll hear in that radio clip, the substitute host lies about what she said, and both him and Corsi say "what she's talking about isn't a birth certificate".

Quote:
... and could be produced?

No. She said it exists, she saw it, but it can't be produced.

The original is there, but they're not going to release it, AFAIK.

I don't want to sound like I have crossed over to the dark side, but Fukino said "original vital records" that may or may not be the Holy Grail sought by the birfoons.

Whatever they are, these vital records were sufficient for the then-Republican administration in Hawaii to confirm the President's Hawaiian birth. And that's good enough for the courts and for all sane people.

I'm just saying that the actual long form hospital issued footie thingy might not be cluttering up the state vaults any longer.

And that it doesn't matter.

I believe (my memory may be fuzzy) is that the reason they no longer do copies of long forms is because there is a serious issue with mold where all these original documents are stored (I am sure they have a humidity problem in Hawaii). Someone (and I can't remember who) said that trying to access these original documents can be quite hazardous and requires very specific safety precautions (gloves, masks etc) because of the mold and as a result all of the files were digitized (or fiched) and the originals are left alone.

I cannot speak to the truth of this but I do know that several years ago our clerk of court had to spend an enormous amount of money de-molding the judgment books (which are ancient) due to complaints by people with allergies, those that they couldn't do anything with the information was digitized and the books were placed in a sealed vault and are not accessed by anyone for any reason.

Just as an aside and if talking to a Birfoon with a slightly higher than room temp IQ.

There IS a LONGER form BC available in Hawai'i....NOT a Long Form.

This is for those individuals who need to demonstrate native Hawai'in bloodlines for certain set aside programs.

Of course the POTUS doesn't get one of these as he doesn't have native Hawai'in blood lines, I did however get a smart ass Birfoon challenge me with this one......once...

Does anyone have an image or link to a post-statehood Certificate of Hawaiian Birth? (Collecting Resources...)

I am! The Birther Eligibility Resource Portal, or something like that. :-k

I will add a new topic if I ever get feedback on my progress (hint to a couple of colors who are probably real busy so it's only a leetle hint so I don't go careering off in the wrong direction....).
