I had a listen to the Morning after show. Miller is good, but the show is not my cup of tea really. Too many jingles.

I do think you underestimate the intelligence of the average listener.

I believe I did mention in a previous post that most listeners knew better and would not be swayed, but in reference to the two snippets of your post that I quote above, and considering that according to latest polls show Obama leading Romney by only 5-6 points, recent pandering to birther craziness shouldn't be taken for granted as the nonsense that it is... and validating Orly and like-minded mouthbreathers, even by means of satire that goes right over their heads unfortunately makes her part of the equation.

1. The Obama-Romney polls have little to do with birfism. The birfers won't ever vote for Obama. Orly doesn't have enough power to influence the nation regarding Obama.

2. In no way was Orly validated. Stephanie never, ever validated or supported Orly's bullshit. Ridicule is particularly effective against such crap. The ridicule worked. Just listen to today's show.

Are you claiming that Stephanie pandered to Orly and that she is "part of the equation"? There is absolutely no evidence to support that. None at all.

Once again, Orly is mocked in the beginning of Stephanie's show.

She reads the comment about her being a nobody too.

Meanwhile, Orly is running a set of comments titled "Orly Bested Stephanie Miller." One reminds her of ALJ Malihi's rulings and comments regarding Orly Taitz in his courtroom. RacerJim is there, as always, for the Orly.

Has Orly previously revealed Malihi's decision on her Web site? She still has the banner headline "GA Judge Denies Obama's Motion to Dismiss" as if that meant something.

She was so excited about her 7 'spurts getting to testify that she never noticed that she lost to the empty chair.

A friend of mine said, paraphrased: "hey, I saw that Orly Taitz on tv. She said a bunch of stuff that wasn't true, but she wasn't as crazy-seeming as I expected."

Eh.

I received a similar comment "Orly did not sound that crazy"

I believe they're largely influence by the fact that she didn't look that crazy given that she wasn't having her feet held to the fire by Steph and could maintain composure whilst delivering the same bullshit more or less that she's been delivering for four years. Had Steph not been subtly snarky, I think it might have been a lot more entertaining and effective in showing Orly for what she is. Just not Steph's thing, I guess. ?(

But Miller's subtle snark was able to overcome nearly every attempt by Taitz to monopolize the exchange. Every time Orly tried launching into her schtick, Miller quietly reclaimed control by inserting her snark in a non-confrontational way and just flat out not letting Orly feenish. It was masterful, if you ask me - considering the interviewee.

Yeah, some reasonable people sometimes see a birther argument and think, maybe there's some there there. That must be one of the reasons birfers still birf. I still do not believe that someone who's a regular Stephanie Miller listener would be influenced into insanity by the preposterous idiot Taitz.

We're not concerned with regular Steph fans.
Not at all.
