No, indeed I was wondering what would happen if we declared July an Orly-free month, no posts about her, no visiting her website. Of course it would be completely unenforcable.

Well, I suppose that the Rooster could place a thread kill switch on "Orly's Poopies" when it reaches the end of 999 pages. It is currently on page 994, so reaching 999 should coincide with the end of the month. Being as resourceful as Foggy is, I'm sure he could find some way to take an entire month to find and repair the overflow condition!

New unofficial numbers released Saturday night by the New York City Board of Elections show Rangel ahead of his main challenger, state Sen. Adriano Espaillat, by only two percentage points - 44% to 42% - with just 802 votes separating them and more than 3,000 votes unaccounted for.

The figures come after Espaillat’s campaign filed a lawsuit contending too many ballots were left outstanding in Tuesday's election.

Dianne Feinstein (DiFi to her many admirers) won her last Senate race by 25 points. This time the margin will be even bigger. In 2010, the Republicans had a very strong (read: extremely wealthy) Senate candidate (Carly Fiorina) and the Democrat, Barbara Boxer, still won by 10 points. Emken, a totally unknown autism activist, came in second, with 12% of the vote, in California's new jungle primary, beating Orly Taitz, the queen of the birthers, and a host of even lesser-known candidates. With no money, no issue, and no name recognition in a very blue state, running against one of the best-known politicians in the state, Emken will go down in flames.

The 20-year Senate veteran was backed by 51 percent of those polled and Emken, 32 percent, in a Field Poll released Saturday. Team Emken called that good news.
