Beat me, Mimi.

Seriously, not certified to clean the bathrooms?! That's outside of enough, bitch. Of course Gingrich didn't abuse (sic) her of this notion, he wrote the damn modern book on incivility in politics.
Grrrrrr. I'm pissed.

I'm disturbed that he did not say "no, that is nonsense," or anything similar. Quite.

May I recommend the model used elsewhere? Eg the losing party needs to carry the cost of the procedure. As not to deny access to the courts due to a possible financial obstacle, the court will need to set a sensible limit, like 100% for obviously frivolous cases.

Orly, I went with the Help Americans Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA) signed by President Bush.
It has a complaint section included, so it was pretty easy. I believe it was section 402 of the HAVA act. Hope it helps.

Glad to see Orly having to pay to spew her venom.

Most say Newt is showing some class about it. No he's not. He's subtler and more insidious. He is a stealth birther. All the birthers want him or Santorum to win. He's much like Santorum, who didn't say to the morons: "Sorry but you're crazy." Although McCain spoke out publicly that Obama was not a Muslim, he sure didn't muzzle Palin. She fanned the flames in Florida with that sheriff by chanting: Barack HUSSEIN OBAMA! Don't let McCain kid you either. He didn't tell Palin to STFU.

The saner remnants of the GOP hate this. Many voted for Obama because Palin made such an ass of herself.

Come to think of it, these candidates do look stupid pandering to Bellevue voters. ;;)

So there are several reports that he said "That's a project you should pursue". This is the guy who thinks his cheating on his wives and lying to them is off limits, right? But tells the birfers to go at it. :-?

Oh, snap! Newt didn't know squat about Lady Liberty and her Obama quest! =)) =))

"That's a project you should pursue."!! =)) =)) After 3 years, Newt has no fucking idea that Lady Liberty has destroyed her life on "this project"! =)) =))

A "project"! A "PROJECT"!! Damn, how belittling to Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq, who has been working on this "project" for 3 years! The "crusade" is nothing more than a "project"!!

I'm not pissed with Newt on this one. He put Orly in her place. =; "Do it yours'elf, crazy lady. I have a President to debate."

Newt gave no hint that he knew what the hell Orly was talking about. ?( This will steam Orly to no end. How could Newt not know about Orly and her 3 year crusade against the great Usurper? Oh, ya, she isn't important .......

Orly has been under the delusion that she is a mover and shaker in the Republican world. She honestly believes that she is a mortal threat to the POTUS "Mr. Obama". Orly has submitted cases to SCOTUS several times, and has receive much press coverage. Now she is blown off and her 3 years effort are reduced to a project. Trust me; Orly was deeply insulted by this.

I guarantee that Orly walked away from that encounter furious. I have absolutely no doubt that she was enraged and emotionally hurt by Newt's response. No doubt at all.

I know that some believe that Newt should have told Orly that she was insane, but what he did was much, much better, IMO. He made Orly tiny and insignificant. He belittled her by not acknowledging her or her crusade. Telling Orly "you're insane" gives Orly attention and press coverage. Orly would have heralded any unsupportive or supportive response as significant. She won't now. In Orly's eyes, any attention is good. Newt basically held up his =; and said "whatever".

The strategy that Newt and Santorum have used with birfers really is quite effective, IMO. Addressing birfers comments in any way makes their theories appear to have merit. Even saying that the issue is insignificant opens the door to debate. By refusing to give lip service to the nutters, Newt and Santorum have demonstrated that these nutters aren't worth the air it takes to address their theories in any way.

Newt told Orly to "go play and let the grown ups talk". This shut her down, both during the Q&A and after the Q&A. Newt reduced Orly to a child. Nothing is more effective with a Narcissist. It is even better than completely ignoring them.

Yeah, and it's very telling of just how crass and pandering Gingrich is. I honestly don't know which of the Republican candidates would do more harm to the country - they're all such venal specimens of humanity.

I also found it rather telling that at the CPAC conference this past weekend, birthering was, if not entirely discouraged, certainly not considered something to be encouraged or promoted, but they had NO problem with giving White "Nationalists" (aka racists) a panel of their own to discuss the "failure of multiculturalism." Honestly, if I had to choose, I'd rather they give the birthers a panel and keep the racists out on the edges.

Given Newt's "maybe it's a project" Orly should pursue response, who wants to bet that she'll soon be claiming that Newt has asked her, personally, to pursue these cases on his behalf and will try to use this "official" "appointment" (or what-have-you) to break down the doors she's so far been unable to pry open?

What I would have preferred would have been for him to both deny Orly any status AND deny birtherism any status, which could have easily been done with a statement like "There's nothing to support these unfounded rumours you're referring to, but if you're still unconvinced, maybe its a project you'd want to pursue on your own. I have better things to debate Obama about." That way, he not only denies birtherism flatly as "unfounded rumours," but he gives Orly no recognition at all and makes it clear that if she continues to pursue it, it's totally on her.

It could be. While driving back to The OC from Pasadena, I wonder if O'rly's conversation with Fluffy went something like this:

Quote:
That nasty Newt Gringorich! How dare he answer me like child and tell me to make project. I have work 24/7 for three years to unseat usurper! I have already make doctor thesis on Obama fraud and crime!

<tires screech, horns honk> Get out of my way! I am great konstitutional attorney and am to be going 90 mph on way home.

<channeling her inner Dorthy> But wait Fluffy. Maybe Gringorich is talking in code? He's a very smart man (a Doctor like me) and knows that some republicans (the stupid ones) don't like to talk about the President's birth certificate and stolen SSN. Maybe he was to keep them happy, but secretly let me know he needs me to help him. Maybe he wants to be ready get Obama disqualified after he wins the primary! Oh, Fluffy, that must be it! I am to be speshul advisor to Mr Gringorich!!

(with apologies for the not so fully formed language. Verbie or Estiveo I ain't)

Yesterday I addressed Gingrich and demanded answers, why a person, who is not eligible to pick tomatoes and clean toilets, is still sitting in the WH?

Quote:
Yesterday I was invited by some TeaPac leaders to attend a meeting with Newt Gingrich. I actually missed picture taking and the beginning of the speech, as I was busy making sure the Superior court in GA has all the documents for the appeal and I actually had to work with my patients prior to the event.
I heard most of his speech, which was pretty much like all the other speeches. After the speech I introduced myself and stated that I am a Republican candidate for the U.S. senate and I am also an attorney, who is leading all the legal challenges to Obama.
I stated that I had Obama recently cornered in Georgia, where I issued a subpoena for Obama to show up and produce all of his records. The judge upheld the subpoena and Obama was in contempt of court, as he never showed up and never produced any documents, as he has nothing to show. I put a senior deportation officer on the stand, who stated, that Obama is committing fraud and using a forged Social Security number from CT, issued to someone born in 1890, and is using a forged birth certificate. I asked Gingrich, why a person, whose papers wouldn’t qualify him to pick tomatoes and clean toilets, is sitting in the White House? (at that point a lot of people started applauding and cheering)
Nice thing about this event, a real icing on the cake, is that it preceded Obama’s big fundriser which is scheduled for today in the morning, right here in Southern California, in Newport Beach. All the networks were there. Cameras were rolling. Channel 5, Channel7 Los Angeles and others were there. Obama could watch it unfolding on TV. =))
Bien venitte to Los Angeles senior Obama!!!

I was not clear enough, LM K. I'm not pissed at Nwet, I'm pissed at Orly for her latest insult to the President. "Not eligible to clean toilets" is just too much for me. I might launch myself at her next time I see her.

I'm sure Nwet smiled his smarmy best, signaling his approval of her tactic. I expect nothing better from him. He had already sunk beneath any possible grace by 1998; his last gasp conversion to Catholicism will not save his mortal soul. But the birthers are inching closer and closer to publicly demanding a lynching, to utterly inexcusable, balls out racism and Lady Lieberty, who hasn't scruples or ethics, just like Nwet, is the bellwether. She just took that giant step closer.

That is what I'm pissed about.
