Dispatches from Birtherstan - 30-31 August 2011

Quote:
In today's dispatches, Judge Lamberth tells Dr. Orly "no", starting off a wave of whining, complaints, and trash talk among the birtherstani. Several of whom step over the line into "The number for the FBI and/or Secret Service is...." territory.

Cody Judy decides to try and primary Obama all by his little lonesome. Neal Turner tells Congress "You get rid of the uppity black man or we'll get rid of you and YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!"

A new book by a "Tea Party Conservative" serves as an impressive debunking of Vogt, Irey, and the rest of World Nut Daily's stable of birth certificate "experts". Dr. Orly has her hand held though the ECF process, while her next Hawaiian adventure gets bumped to November.

Last but not least, Charles Kerchner, Lawrence Sellin, and Sher Zieve all indulge in some race baiting and fear mongering.

Wow. That nutjob Cody Judy can expect all of two votes, and that's only if he doesn't spaz out and accidentally vote for someone else while in the throes of delirium tremens, and if his tapeworm doesn't become disloyal.

In today's dispatches, Zampolit Haskins tries to re-edit history (and his Hawaiian vacation is still go) Meanwhile, people are starting to laugh at his birtherpoolza.

Law enforcement - and mental health professionals - really need to keep an eye on Walter Fitzpatrick. A little-known group demands that Obama and other elected officials leave office NOW or face the wrath of......well, it's hard to say.

Victoria Jackson reports on World Nut Daily's Alaska cruise (based on the report, she was all but slipping Jerome Corsi some tongue.) The Pest and eFail does a.....wait for it....WHINEY LETTER!!! And Lawrence Sellin's plans for a post-Obama United States is almost Stalin-like in nature.

Dispatches from Birtherstan - 3-7 September 2011

Quote:
The saying goes that when one stares at the abyss, the abyss stares back at them. After three years spent writing about the birtherstani, all the way back to their cult of the COLB days, I think I can safely say that there is no level of willful ignorance, sheer hatred, or utter stupidity that surprises me anymore.

Sad to say.

Whereas the birthers used to amuse me, they now fill me with a deep-seated dislike, meshed with a sense of despair about how bad political discourse has become in his country. Never in my life have I seen the office of the Presidency treated with such contempt by the opposition party. Never have I seen the sheer and open obstructionism shown. Never have I seen an opposing side so demonized. It used to be we were all Americans together, even when we disagreed politically.

No more. Not when you have "patriots" calling for revolt, threats against so-called "Obots" for daring - DARING - to support a lawfully and democratically President. When you have a political party determined to sacrifice everything - jobs, the economy, lives, the very future and principles of this country - if it means making the President a "one term only" President.

I swear the first person who says this is a "post-racial" American will get punched in the throat. AFTER I stop laughing.

Are there things I disagree with Obama on?? Absolutely. Are there things I wish he would do differently?? Yes. In particular I wish he would understand you can't compromise with the current GOP - because the Tea Party and their friends in the right-wing media have driven off every sane Republican out there and replaced them with batch of party-line ideologues that would bring a tear of pride to Stalin.

No matter if Obama wins or loses in 2012, I'm not sure the well of political dialog can ever be cleaned of the poison fouling it. Not when the people we elect continue to add their own ideological feces to it. Not when people can't see past colour or political party. Not when everyday working-class people are bled dry, told everything they earned was an "entitlement", and the people who stand up for their rights called "thugs" or worse. Not when the middle class that made this country what it was has been all but destroyed.

If Obama loses in 2012, I'm not sure our country will survive with its principles and values intact. If Obama wins a second term, I'm not sure he can do more than delay that death for another decade. We're supposed to be better than this as a nation.

But the monster staring from the abyss seems to say otherwise.......

Anyway, today's dispatches has Dr. Orly's spin on her federal case. A motion to dismiss in her Hawaiian civil case. A Dr. Orly transcript that bears only a passing similarity to her claims. Bigfoot expert "Citizen" Larry Wells doesn't like to be debunked. The Pest and eFail wonders why anyone hasn't acted on the "treason" complaints their band of seditionists have sent out.

Dr. Kate seems to think the Democrats are racist, based on strawmen arguments and overshadowed by her own obvious racism. "ObamaFake" acts like, well, "trailer trash". World Nut Daily warns about lies and propaganda, in an article that must make Joseph Farah's nose as big as the Washington Monument.

Pam Barnett is told "no, you can't have federal case, not yours." Lame Cherry tries to attack so-called "Obots". Remember boys and girls, violent rhetoric is A-OK if you're a Tea Party member, but strictly prohibited if you're speaking out AGAINST the Tea Party.

Moran is trying to make a post-military career off of being a nutcase. The birthers need to know that often times, silence means "go away and other someone else with your fairy tale". And Lawrence Sellin continues to urge the overthrow of the US Government from the comfort of his Finland residence.

And it isn't even "supporting" the president; some here did not vote for Obama, or are disappointed by his performance since being in office. "Obots" are insulted and menanced for merely stating the obvious truth that Obama was duly elected.

True. The bar among most birthers is that simply saying "no, I don't believe you" to them is seen as "support of Obama and his policies".

I mean hell, I don't agree with Obama all the time myself, never have and more than likely never will. But the simple act of debunking them has led to hate mail and birthers threatening my job and harassing me at my work.

It's all "you're with us, or completely against us" for them.

Pat, I always enjoy Bad Fiction but your lead-in this time is just exceptional. Thank you for such a thoughtful, articulate expression of your feelings...and sadly, of my own as well.

Bravo.

In today's dispatches, Dr. Kate seems to be falling more and more into generic conspiracy land. Daryn Moran's twitter feed makes for some.....interesting reading.

Dr. Orly not only calls out Birther Report on their long-standing tradition of claiming other people's work for their own, but outs the site owner to boot. Swiftboat liar Jerome Corsi prints a new "analysis" that's every bit has silly as the past ones.

Corsi also cites a new authority, one Lame Cherry. And $haron Rondeau want$ money.

In today's dispatches, Dr. Orly's demand for reconsideration (and a pony) in her case against the SSA. A YouTube video of the latest tempest in a teacup makes Stormfront look like the Disney channel.

"One Pissed-Off Vietnam Vet" continues to be his racist self. Obama's campaign starts a debunking page that has the birtherstani all upset. Dr. Kate continues her decent. The Pest and eFail takes a page from Dr. Orly's book.

Dr. Orly is upset because she didn't get a chance to sing along with Alan Keyes or do a handstand in an Alaskan town. Zampolit Dean Haskins and Miki Booth find themselves in Hawaii unable to keep their stories straight or consistent. And Lawrence Sellin decides to go into full-on race baiting.

Dispatches from Birtherstan - 15-16 September 2011

Quote:
In today's dispatches, looks like Darren Huff had quite the party planned after they liberated Walter Fitzpatrick from the courthouse. Swiftboat liar Jerome Corsi once again shows he can dish it out but can't take it. "AttackWatch" seems to have the birthers bleating that that nasty ol' Obama is being mean to them by, oh, defending himself against their lies.

Paul Valley wants a coup but can't find anyone to lead it. Dean Haskins Hawaiian Vacation continues, with a good chunk of the article being devoted to his whining that he got caught lying. Whining AND Racism at Dr. Kate's AND Canada Free Press.

Two from Carl Swensson, a fringeless courtroom for a brand new and improved Fake Grand Jury! Sharon Rondeau gives her list of what she sees as "Obama's eligibility issues" and the reality-based community sees as "utter tripe". Sammie Sewell tries to do a "look at me! Look at me!!" Ron Polland/Polarik seems to be traveling down a path that will end with his eventually claiming every single birth certificate ever in Hawaii is a forgery. And Daryn Moran seems to be getting more unstable.

Dispatches from Birtherstan - 17-19 September 2011

Quote:
In today's dispatches, the birtherstani play "monkey see, monkey do". Pat Boone plays to the birtherstani. Walter Fitzpatrick seems to have problems with dusky authority figures.

Miki Booth and Dean Haskins can't get their stories straight. Joe Arpaio continues to be the birthers Great White Hope, even when his office is giving mixed signals. John Woodman challenges Paul Irey.

Dr. Orly smoozes with Pat Boone, and spins her Hawaiian cases. Dr. Kate publically and openly calls for an unconstitutional military coup. "One Pissed-Off Vietnam Vet" does an amazing degree of paranoia.

"Raised on Hoecakes" has a message for birthers "stop it, you're giving conservatives a bad name". Joseph Farah and his porn star mustache call upon the Blessed St. Sarah Moosekiller to save us. Rick Santorum manages to seem like the sane and moderate one compared to birtherstani. Andrew Breitbart wants a shooting war. And Corsi has a message for Dr. Orly about Joe Arpaio - which really seems to be "I'll scratch your eyes out if you come near my man, you peroxided bimbo!"

Dispatches from Birtherstan - 20-21 September 2011

Quote:
In today's dispatches, more about Joe Arpaio - and the fact that his "posse" might not exactly have the same sense of urgency the birthers do.

Daryn Moran seems to be settling into his post-military career of "village loon". Ron Polland / Polarik continues to add to his cute little conspiracy. JB Williams is looking for One Insane Kook to lead this country, while "One Pissed-Off Vietnam Vet" will settle for One Insane Paranoid Racist Kook.

Jerome Corsi claims the "vault copy" of the long form is a - wait for it - forgery. This is based on a story from the wearer of the uber-patriotic speedo of doom, and confirmed by Corsi's bowl of Alpha-Bits. Lawrence Sellin seems to have a concern about the GOP nominating some one of a dusky hue.

And finally Zampolit Dean Haskins reports on his Hawaiian vacation, in a tale full of personal attacks and projection, and remarkably thin on anything like "facts" or "reality".

Dispatches from Birtherstan - 22-26 September 2011

Quote:
No dispatches last friday, had family matters to attend to. Which, of course, means a busy few days in birtherstan.

Can Google come up with a "Lame Cherry to English" translator?? Dr. Kate still wants a military coup. Walter Fitzpatrick goes to court and manages to screw up big time. The civil war between normal birthers and the de Vattelists is getting noticed.

Tea Party groups in Florida and New Jersey plan to harass their sheriffs as well. The racist artist "Nobarack08" loves him some Dred Scott decision. Dean Haskins and Charles Kerchner plan to attend the Value Voters summit in hopes of pimping birtherpoolza.

Lawrence Sellin doesn't seem to like any elected officials anymore, and wants one-party teahaddist rule. Dr. Orly is upset that the SSA dared to object to her motion to reconsider, while there seems to be some difference between her version of her trip to Washington DC and reality.

Linda Jordan goes "look at me, I broke the law, wheeee!!" Neal Turner is upset that more teahaddists aren't in birtherstan. And tomorrow is the big day for the Supreme Court to tell Gary Kreep "no".

And last but not least not only is Daryn Moran is whining that the ebil gheys and moooslims are to blame for his current state of unemployment, but he's doing videos that law enforcement should hopefully find rather fascinating…..

Dispatches from Birtherstan - 27-28 September 2011

Quote:
In today's dispatches, World Nut Daily reports on what the aptly-named Gary Kreep wants from the Supreme Court - namely for them to consider the appeal of Keyes v Bowen. And a pony. Squeeky Fromm shows us that while she's crazy, she's not crazy enough to be a de Vattelist.

Dr. Orly tries to cheerlead Daryn Moran's "arrest" plans. The Pest and eFail does some changes, Dr. Orly calls on Ed Koch to help her, Ed Koch replies by endorsing Obama. Dr. Orly is also trying to get her "Look at MEEEE!!!!" act in front of ANYONE in Congress. Loudon and Monroe Counties play prisoner ping-pong.

We have some projection from OPOVV. Unlicensed "pastoral therapist" Sammie Sewell gets a "bug off" email from law enforcement. Gary Kreep finds out Keyes v Bowen is dead and no, he can't has pony, not his.

Finally, Daryn Moran seems to have gotten an early morning visit from a sheriff and two humourless Secret Service agents, who proceed to tell him just how the cow ate the cabbage........

Dispatches from Birtherstan - 29-30 September 2011

Quote:
In today's dispatches, we have Paul Irey doing a wonderful imitation of Gallus gallus domesticus. Ulsterman and Lame Cherry both come out with new nuggets of fecal fiction, which Dr. Kate then lovingly laps up.

Daryn Moran's video may be officially removed, but copies still float around. Including copies with defense from Moran . We have the return of the Pest and eFail's (heavily censored, party-line) comments, along with their usual whiney letters. Dr. Orly courts the wrath of Jerome Corsi, while Neal Turner has an interesting definition of "honor".

The courts tell Pupura "no, you can't have appeal, not yours." Erik Rush comes up with a conspiracy that's so wackadoodle that Polarik must be screaming that they're stealing his act. Lawrence Sellin appears at the Pest and eFail to trash-talk the GOP. And Dean Haskins, realizing that the paypal might dry up after Birtherpoolza, comes up with a "non-profit" with a name that sounds less political and more like an embarrassing fungal infection.

Quote:
In today's dispatches. Dr. Orly's latest court filing may just rank up there with some of her past classics for sheer arrogance and idiocy. Daryn Moran claims to be in Washington DC, where his reports seem to be less "I'm arresting Obama" and more "Whine, I'm broke and can't figure out my smartphone".

Walter Fitzpatrick is in solitary. Charles Kerchner is upset that the Secret Service is keeping an eye on Moran rather than, you know, ignoring the Constitution and illegally arresting that uppity black guy. Someone needs to point out to JB Williams that when you cite a source to back you up, make sure it actually backs you up.

And Keyes v Bowen officially assumes room temperature.

Dispatches from Birtherstan - 4-7 October 2011

Quote:
The last few days have been rather stressful and real life had to take priority over what the idiots were up to today. My apologizes for the delay.

Anyway, today's dispatches has the SPLC showing how World Nut Daily primes the pump of birther stupidity. JB Williams has an interesting poll on his website - and joins together with Tim Harrington and "Mind War" co-author Paul Vallely in a call for veterans to gang together and overthrow the government, which gets airtime at World Nut Daily, Birther Report, and maybe a few Klan rallies as well.

Linda Jordan asks the press why they're not breaking the law too. World Nut Daily tries to explain away the Supreme Court rejecting Keyes v Bowen, which is now officially dead. Daryn Moran wants to meet with Obama. And wants a pony too.

Neal Turner is upset a right-wing group didn't want to waste their money on birtherism. Jerome Corsi seems to be wetting his panties with the idea of a civil war in the US. Mark Levin seems to be the latest right-wing target of the birtherstani.

Lawrence Selln seems to have a new home at the Pest and eFail. And Holy Cao seems to be hanging around with the birtherpoolza crowd.

In today's dispatches, we have reports of dubious accuracy from the Birtherpoolza gang at the Value Voters Summit. Plus pictures detailing Holy Cao's interesting fashion sense.

Lucas Smith does another "Dear Penthouse Letters..." post, this time detailing the Dr. Orly / Charles E. Lincoln III tryst. Lil' Bunny Foo-Foo is now projectile trowing up. "One Pissed-off Vietnam Vet announces he's running for President - and outs himself in the process.

Dr. Kate seems to be losing hope along with her marbles. Canada Free Press provides us with an anti-Obama rant full of racist goodies. Lame Cherry sees conspiracy in her future.

The Terry Lakin Action Fund seems to be upset that their favourite blue falcon wasn't feted at the Value Voters Summit. Daryn Moran has a new video out and it looks like his supposed trip to Washington DC was a disappointment. And someone seems to like me....

This is why I love :xo reading Bad Fiction. I would have missed this gem if I didn't:

Quote:
Nobody outside of those friends knew who he was??

"When we asked why he sounded so discouraged he answered, "I've seen display after display for every conservative issue. There are First Amendment groups, Second Amendment groups, Freedom of Religion groups, groups representing objectivity of the press, school voucher groups, marriage amendment groups, pro-life groups, fair tax groups, and almost every other conservative issue. But none of this matters if we allow the authority of the Constitution to be diminished in any way."

You see, this was and is Terry's only issue. Why can't the so called president be held to the clear constitutional standards concerning eligibility? Why has no one in any position of authority at least officially looked into this?"

Translation - "Wahhh!!! They're not doing anything about the scary black man in the White House!! Wahhh, I trashed my career and they're ignoring me!! Wahhhhh!!!"

"Just to show you how totally confused people are on the issue read the following carefully:· One of the officers involved in Terry's court martial process ran into Pamela Barnett and Theresa Cao at the Whitehouse on Saturday, Oct 9. When offered literature about the Birther Summit and other brochure about Terry's case, her comment was,"Oh yeah. We put the littler shirker in prison because he just didn't want to deploy."

Did she not hear a thing? Did she not read one brief? Does she not know that Terry was ready to go and wanted to go? Was she so oblivious to the issue that she totally missed the point of Terry's action?"

I suspect she read the briefs and evidence quite well. Lakin asked his chain of command about Obama being eligible as Commander in Chief. He was told yes, Obama is the lawful Commander in Chief and his orders are valid. Lakin didn't like this answer, and tried to force the issue by disobeying lawful orders given by his immediate chain of command and missing movement. He ended up pleading guilty and spent a few months as a guest at Fort Leavenworth.

Because, of course, all of the officers who were involved in the Lakin [guilty plea] court martial were at this event, and, naturally, they all know Cao and Barnett.

Dispatches from Birtherstan - 11-12 October 2011

Quote:
In today's dispatches, World Nut Daily shows that while it's humour-challenged, many of its readers aren't hate-challenged. Tracy Dorsey comes out with a love video to Walter Fitzpatrick. Erik Rush and Martha Trowbridge continue their trip to conspiracyworld with their latest "proof" that Malcolm X was Stanley Ann Dunham's baby daddy.

Dean Haskins reports on their handing out flyers and having people avoid or shun the crazy birthers at the Value Voters Summit. The State of Hawaii asks the judge in Taitz v Fuddy for dismissal, the judge goes "Okay, sounds good to me." Walter Fitzpatrick gets a field trip to see personal pink plastic phallus owner/operator Darren Huff.
