Do they go through a metal detector at federal courthouses? I would think that even if it isn't always done, they would do it for the Bundy trials, only because it would be stupid not to do that when you are putting on trial people who successfully convinced many people to take arms against the gov...

Paying someone for working a government job and not making them work is usually a big no no.
Yes; yet it was recently revealed that Congress did just that to settle a sexual-harassment complaint.

She is technically still an employee, but since she will not be coming in to work anymore, her credentials to enter the premises were revoked. A sweeth...

SCoAL has an age limit; Moore's too old to run for a seat.

I don't recall if other state offices also have age limits.

I've read several articles this morning that specify her pass was only deactivated for certain areas. She still has access to some other general areas. I have no idea what the physical lay-out is but it makes sense to allow access to some and deny access to others depending on level of position. If...

This reminds me. Didn't Taitz give Ray Moore the Orly Taitz Kiss Of Death endorsement? Yup. Taitz also expressed concern about how Moore was leading up until the final quarter of the votes were counted. Taitz of old would have already filed a lawsuit. I guess Taitz is now just old, and content to p...

The Buzzfeed article sure paints a more sympathetic figure than does April Ryan.
Ryan and Manigault-Newman have feuded previously, so there may be some bias.

But Ryan has some serious journalistic bona fides; I'm curious as to her sources.

It seems to me that it is easier, cheaper, and more expedient to not record attorney-client communications than it is to just record everything, then (1) hire a taint team to listen to and weed out the protected records; (2) engage in extensive litigation over whether the taint team acted properly ...

Yes. Regardless of the winner, tomorrow's narrative will be that Moore underperformed. And the navel gazing will decide whether to blame Moore, the president, or both for that.

It can fluctuate (due to the relatively limited data and the uncertainty in its modeling). But it was painfully accurate last year; folks around me were all celebrating Clinton's inevitable win until I showed them NYT's site.

Despite Moore still presently having more votes, the NYT indicator is now leaning towards Jones.
