Three Theories

Birthers have three main theories -- based on lies about the facts and the law -- upon which they base their claims that President Obama is ineligible.

1. Barack Obama was born in Kenya and thus isn't a natural born citizen,
2. Barack Obama was adopted in Indonesia and lost his natural born citizenship,
3. Barack Obama can never be a eligible because you need two citizen parents to be a natural born citizen.

In this section of the site, we'll explain and debunk these three theories. We'll discuss the so-called "evidence" the birthers offer in support of the theories, and why the theories are all simply lies.
